Weinstube Gelbes Haus in Eltville am Rhein

In this stupid, relaxed down time I ordered to go today. Zeus burgers, wedges and spare ribs - everyone was really full and it tasted great! That was worth it!

Service was very friendly and fond of children. Prices reasonable. Food great!

Cozy restaurant with delicious food. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Unfortunately not barrier-free, the toilets are in the basement and the stairs are long, so not only unsuitable for wheelchair users, but also a real challenge for the disabled. A pity

You can sit very nicely on the terrace with a view of the Rhine! Food and wine very good, price / performance ratio very good! Recommendable!

Very nice restaurant and winebar. The view when the sun goes down is also very nice. The staff was very friendly. We stayed also there for the night. It was very clean and cosy. The bathroom was sparking clean and very modern. A place to go to if you want to have a nice weeked.

Home cooking. The taste is ok. The lemon chicken breast was a bit dry and still partly not cooked through. The salad with rump teak strips to my taste drowned in yogurt dressing. Unfortunately I forgot to have them served separately. Service flawless

In the right place at the right time. Everything was perfect, it tasted good and we were served very well by well-motivated staff

It's really nice to sit in, but the food wasn't great. We had lemon chicken and pork tenderloin with pepper sauce. Both were very dry, the sauce like jelly and looked like out of the bag.

Food and view great. Unfortunately for us a bit bad flat share. Wedding planning. Time window too narrow. But understand that.

We had a very, very nice communion celebration. Very nice service. Everything was great all around. Highly recommended!

We dined here with a larger group (pre-registered) and still had to wait well over an hour for our food. The food itself (schnitzel with chanterelles) was not very tasty and served very carelessly. The view was excellent, but the comfort of the pictures (terrace) was not there with us. Rather, simple tables without decoration and simply garden chairs. Service was okay, but nothing more. Overall we were very disappointed.

Lovely food and the most spectacular view!

Because our excursion unfortunately fell into the water, we stopped here spontaneously. The service was friendly and made everything possible so that we could still sit outside. The food was excellent and the prices fair. And there was nothing wrong with the wine either. All around wonderful. We will be back!

It was delicious. Warm lentil salad with trout fillet. Mixed, fresh salad with a delicious dressing. Staff very friendly. Super nice view of the Rhine from the terrace.

This restaurant is in Eltville. A small town with the charming atmosphere lies along the Rhine.

Great views on the outside deck. Wanted to love this place but the service was only okay and the food was too 'weird' for most of us in the group. I ordered boiled beef which was served cold. It was rather bland, even with the green sauce the region is known for. The sauce was not the intense bright flavor I was expecting and the beef had almost no flavor in the jell it was molded in. The setting was beautiful, though, and they had several delicious regional wines from the area.

Super Friendly and fast service. This restaurant have fantastic overview of the river and valley. The food quality is okay but the presentation is not picturesque enough.

The bratwurst with cabbage and potatoes was delicious. Hot chocolate cake and mango sorbet was amazing. The wait staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We will definitely recommend to friends and we will come back.

We stopped in on a whim without reservations but they had a table for us. Very friendly staff and great food! I recommend calling ahead for reservations! Definitely will go again!

Riverview - beatiful & lovely place just for a glass of wine and/or delicious meal

Apart from the beautiful appearance of the house and the fabulous situation by the Rhine, we did not have a good experience here. We had driven for 9 hours through Germany, and arrived very tired. There was not a hint of welcome, and we were treated with disdain. The food was mediocre to say the least, and I had the worst cup of "espresso" coffee that I have ever had in Germany. We go to Germany a lot, and so this was very disappointing. I think the people who run the restaurant are resting on their laurels, and are making the most of the stunning location.
